Just let it end – Afghanistan

There is no individual to blame. It’s the MIC and to quote Putin when asked about who would be better for Russia as president – Trump or Clinton – he said – It didn’t matter the people behind the scenes are the ones that control foreign affairs in the end.

We have been at war with someone almost continually for the past 75 years. Anyone that wants to stop that are conveniently pushed aside. Kennedy, Carter, Trump, all were against war and all 3 had short Presidential careers.

Worse we now have a generation of military leaders that with very few exceptions have never seen a day of actual combat. They all got their ‘combat’ card punched at battalion or division positions and went on their merry way.

Ironically this is exactly like Vietnam.

We trained and armed the Taliban to fight the Russians just as we trained and armed the The Vietnamese under Ho Chi Minh to fight the Japanese.

The definition of insanity is repeating the same action over and over and expecting a different result. Apparently our MIC leaders are insane.

We should do what the Russian’s did. Learn from the experience and just move on. This won’t happen of course. Its not the American way. We, and by we I mean the MSM and real powers in charge, will find someone to blame. It distracts us.

But don’t you fret or worry, they will have a new conflict to replace Afghanistan. If there is one thing modern history has shown us is there are no shortages of disasters that can’t be turned into a conflict. And a profitable one.

Of course like the USSR, at some point we will run out of money, no matter how much we print, and that is when the domestic fun begins.
